Refutations from a skeptic
This is what my mother, a doctor, had to say about the results of my liver cleanse (after showing her pictures and describing the process):
"The passage from the liver to the intestine is called the cystic
duct. The interior diameter is probably less than 1/8". People
passing tiny stones scream in pain. Stones the size of a quarter don't get passed. They stay in the gall bladder. The things you are passing are not stones. The green interior may be bile, the
Epsom Salts may cause the bile to coagulate in the intestine, and the yellow outside is fecal matter that accumulates as it passes through the intestine."
I explained that the flush cleanses the gallbladder as well; that the yellow stuff was most definitely NOT fecal matter; and the
Epsom Salts open the ducts so it's not painful. I haven't heard back from her yet.
But is there any validity to the argument that the bile was coagulating in the intestine and being coated with the chaff there? Because I also passed balls of chaff after a while.
I'm curious to see what others who are more medically knowledgable have to say about my mother's argument... If you know something about this, please reply!
