I had a 6mm stone in my common bile duct diagnosed by MRI last June *after* the blockage had passed. The 6mm stone is now gone too (passed by flushing) but it all leaves me wondering just how big the stone was that caused the blockage!?
IMHO (and after a lot of research) it is probable that some of the things your Mother says are correct. I'm still not entirely convinced that the gallbladder can expell large stones however I do completely believe that by stimulating bile production Gallstones can be dissolved until they *are* small enough to pass; and with a change in diet and lifestyle they will never form again.
I continue to flush and can tell you that my general health is far superior to what is has been for decades.
My parents are sceptics (and medical people) so I know exactly what you are going through. Trust your gut (no pun intended) instinct. I did, I still have my gallbladder and I haven't regretted it yet.
