I thought psyllium is the main ingredient in laxative products and it was the Bentonite that was causing the constipation. Since increasing psyllium I have not been constipated at all. To me, it seems the psyllium would scrape the colon about as much as Cream of Wheat, at least that's about the consistency and texture if I let it gel. For scraping action, would popcorn work? just curious. Any thoughts?
