Did you get diarrhea from the salt water flushes? Have you ever had a hemorrhoid before? If you were just having spots of blood and it was bright red there is a good possibility that you may have a hemorrhoid that has become symptomatic as a result of the flushing. Take a mirror and examine your anal tissue to see if you can determine if there are any ittle tears or pimple-like areas that may be bleeding. If this is the cause of the blood it is not necessary to stop the cleanse...but you'd probably be better to lay off the salt water flushes.

I had the impression from your post that there was more blood than spotting.
