With regards to your question about whether or not it can be considered in remission, I don't think it's quite there yet. That is why I used the word "Preliminary" in the subject heading.

I'm not exactly sure when to say that we are done with the program and moving into maintenance. I don't want to subject my father to another biopsy. What I've been thinking is that if he is symptom free and continues with low PSA scores for six months, we can call it our own "Healing Miracle." Does anyone else have any thoughts about when it can be said that prostate cancer is healed or in remission?
