Is there a way to tell when systemic yeast infection is gone?

Hi, a few years ago I was diagnosed with a systemic yeast infection and took a prescription anti-yeast drug for a few months. Unfortunately, I ran out of money, had to stop seeing that doctor, and am now pretty much on my own when it comes to healing. (I've been disabled for 13 years with CFS.)

I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas about how one can know if one has a systemic yeast infection or not? Did I cure mine or not? I have no idea!

A related question: Can a yeast infection be passed to another person via sexual or other physical contact?
