Re: Killing/Murder

I don't think killing/murder is acceptable. Unless necessary, are there not times when it is necessary to kill?

Saddam Hussein is responsible for killing many thousands of people since he has been dictator of Iraq.

I feel he should be stopped. I don't necessarily agree that another country should go invade....but how else would you suggest getting that man out of power and freeing the people of Iraq from oppression? Giving those folks a right to choose how they live their lives. He doesn't seem ready to back down.

This is where if the U.N was truly for the good of all nations, they would step in and remove him from power. Do they care though, about the people of Iraq? That those people live in fear daily of their government? NO!

I feel very sorry that this war will likely cause casualties. I'd like to believe though that those casualties will be fewer then the people that would be killed if Saddam was left in power.

If this war does not free those people, if it does not work like I believe it will, I will gladly eat my words and admit I was wrong. I pray and hope that I am right.
