America is in the process of proving Democracy does not work
unless the citizens participate. You are correct. A government
that requires an army to assure its' existance, is not what dem-
ocracies are about. We imprison more Americans every year. Police
introventions are becoming a common aspect to our everyday lives.
Roadblocks and ID checks have become part of our daily existance.
