You hit another sore subject with me (yes, I'm opinionated) Did you know that Ritalin is nothing more than Crystal meth? (just better grade) I had people at work telling me about their relatives. Our government school said their son had to be on Ritalin or he would not be allowed to go to school. They refused to drug up their kid by force from their own government, so they put their kid in a private school.
The private school changed his schedule. He would be in class for 45 minutes, then get 20 minutes to run and play. It worked wonders for the kid. No drugs, then they found out he has a very high IQ, he just needed to get rid of his energy every hour. How sad that we could be drugging up some of our most bright children.
