In an effort to blame the United States and United Kingdom for war atrocities, the U.S. Central Command charged Thursday that Saddam Hussein will dress members of a paramilitary force in uniforms from the two countries while hurting his own people. In a written statement, Jim Wilkinson, Central Command's director of strategic communications, said, "Saddam intends to issue these uniforms to Fedayeen Saddam troops, who would wear them when conducting reprisals against the Iraqi people so that they could pass the atrocities off as the work of the United States and the United Kingdom."
