Adelle Davis got "dosed" for insurance medical exam.

In all fairness, Adelle Davis was a sick women who had Spastic Colitis, a tough one, and she healed herself. She got into trouble when she took loads of Barium for X-Rays for an insurance company medical exam. Some media promotion she was going to be involved with demanded a mega-check-up so they could insure her life. So she submitted to a really barbaric series of internal exams which probably did her in, what with all the Barium and the X-Rays. God bless her! Tweet
