don't get me wrong, i think the web is great! but it is still evolving. now that we have it, we can fall prey to MISinformation in large quantities instead of just DISinformation in smaller. i imagine that if nothing else, the main stream press has to wake up to the fact that not only are many people watching their own mistakes and laziness, the bloggers can call them on it. and they're actully listning. will they correct these shortfalls? maybe to some degree. will bloggers make them disappear? probably not. i think that's ok. they will have to change w/ the times. before my jump to the web, i used to get my alternative info from obscure publishing, and talk radio. i'm glad i have more options now. but i will reiterate my point...all info(news) is in the eye of the beholder.....
