Re: Ode To lost My Sense of Humour

I loose my sense of humor when I take life too seriously. I think that's the way the Japanese CEO's are too. Waaay too serious!
Sounds like we've all been down before and laughed about it to keep our sanity. What's the difference now? We're slaves to security now instead of survival? It kind of reminds me of the saying, it's not the kill, it's the thrill of the chase. Are you satisfied now where you weren't before? I think it's the almost unreachable goal chasing that makes us alive. Once we're satisfied half way even, we're dead.
I'm not sure, but I learned to never take anything in life too seriously, so I find humor all around me. Maybe it's the old you get what you look for thing. For me it's when I get to serious about this world, and not serious enough about God is when I loose the ability to see the humor in this life. Compared to God, this world is a total joke. There is so much to laugh at. It's all around, if our eyes are open I know.
I'm not sure what I'm saying or where I'm going in all this, just thinking out loud I guess. All I know is for me, this life is too silly to take seriously. Adobt the Alfred E. Newman finer school of thought. "What me care?" Laugh because this world is the joke. That's for sure!
(man you guys are a tough crowd!) (just kidding)
Take Care!
