Re: Choosing OUr Parents

i've heard this concept before... but do not agree... for if we had a choice coming in then we would know the outcome already... how would that be of any benefit... i'm more inclined to believe life is intended to be somewhat haphazard... we all have our trials... wins and losses... good and bad... like the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat... and through it all we grow... it's called experience... and experience is what molds us and makes us who we are... and yet no two people are the same... we are all different... driven by different motives... beliefs... desires... but underneath it all is the real motor of all lifes glories and travails... the "ego"... and the ego is formed by the total accumulation of our particular environment and our particular experiences... this establishes our perspectives and our belief systems by which we try to govern ourselves and others...

if one can rise above the ego then one can see all the insanities that plague mankind... that plagues societies around the world... and at the root of insanity is "fear"... seems our fabric is shot through with fears... and the only way that i've ever known to be free of fear is through love... if one can love deeply enough... purely enough... it makes ones whole world change for the better... it places one under Gods wing so to speak... and there is just no room for fear as long as we are there... i also believe one gives off a more pleasant Body Odor (a sweet smell) when one is in love... i think perhaps that is the very thing that saved daniel in the lions den... the lions did not smell fear on him... they smelled "love"... and were either neutralized ... confused... or could have even been afraid of his unfamiliar scent... (something to think about)...

most of us know the story of the Dude that tried his best to teach us how to love... so that we might have life more abundantly... and even He had difficulty penetrating the thick armored barriers of fear that make up the "ego"...

so... on this i base my conclusion that we are here to learn how to love and to teach others how to love... (as best we can)... and to conquer ones own ego would be our greatest challenge... i believe when we accomplish this feat we will be rocketed into another dimension... known as Gods Kingdom... "LOVE"...

"THY KINGDOM COME... THY WILL BE DONE... ON EARTH... AS IT IS IN HEAVEN"...

i guess i got somewhat long winded... but that's my take on the subject rudy my friend...
