The book "Where God Lives: the Science of the paranormal and how our brains are linked to the universe" is written by Melvin Morse, M.D., with Paul Perry. Melvin Morse is the pediatrician thru whose voice the book is written. They have previously written several books about NDEs. In this book he makes a case for the right temporal lobe in the brain as being an area of the brain where all human beings can connect w/God. It also cites many different cases which link the activation of this part of the brain w/healing and healers.
