I have been under care from a naturopatic docotr for 1 year. He started me on the Arise & Shine program in June 2002. I have done 3 rounds of that cleanse. Also, he has me on a parasite formula because he feels I do have parasites. Between these two items I have been pulling out a lot of stuff! About 3 weeks ago, my doctor suggested I do a liver cleanse which is very similiar to Dr. Schulze 's. I did everything on his cleanse except for the juice part and the tincture part. I ate normally.
I thought I had passed a lot before???? Nothing compared to now! For three weeks I passed all these yellow things the size of peas and bigger that floated on top of the water. Also, for a couple of days I passed all BLACK stuff, mostly liquid. The solid stuff was definitly mucoid plaque! Anyway, about a week ago, I started to feel bloated and crampy and then it stayed that way 24/7. I went to my ND and he said that my intestines were in overdrive and that we needed to slow things down, so he gave me a few things for better digestion.
To answer your question, I have never really had much trouble with constipation, if anything I tend to be the other way. My Dad had trouble with constipation but my Mom and I seem to have the same problem.

Since I see you are a master herbalist, do you think it would be wise for me to try slippery elm??
