They were right, it does work on silver. I have a sterling silver chain that needed cleaning, it was really dark looking. I put some baking soda and water in a cup to make a paste. I put the chain inside, and let it stay for 10-15 mins. I took it out and wiped it through a rag, and i could see the dark stains on it. I washed off the remaining paste off the chain under the faucet, and wiped it again. It looks like it's new! No need for those toxic cleaners from the store. Tweet
