Re: What is the best thing for chronically swollen Lymph nodes?
Hi Matt:
I have had wonderful results by using a black drawing poultice on chronically swollen lymph nodes. This is a very simple poultice that can be applied to any infected area of the body. IT is also great for drawing and draining boils.
The Poultice is made with Charcoal & flaxseed,
Heat 1 cup water to a boil
while heating add 4 tablespoonfuls powdered charcoal & 4 table spoonfuls freshly ground flaxseed.
Heat till boiling, remove from heat. You will now have a pan of hot black goop.
Place piece of clean cotton material on the counter.
Spread the black goop in the middle of the material, use enough to cover the affected area.
Fold the edges of the material over the goop to make a secure patch and tape shut. (you do not want this to come open and get on your clothes or bedding)
While still good and warm, place on the affected area, leave on for 4-6 hours or overnight.
This simple remedy has worked miracles for many of our members.
It is also great on Children's ear infections. Place over the ear and fasten on with an old pair of pantyhose.
[You can use the legs to tie around the head. The Nylon will relax instead of constrict like an ace bandage will so the child will be comfortable during the night.]
I have never seen this fail to clear up an ear infection overnight for a child or adult.
