Well this is just an abstract - so there wouldn't be that sort of detail about what was used by the patients. I haven't read the full paper yet so I can't clarify at the moment.

As for medicine not helping people with cancer, by AM you are assuming these were medications. The AM may well have been the management you describe - again the full paper is needed.

A similar study was done in the UK which had similar findings.

Your view that no medicines help cancer is not borne out by the literature.
