Re: Favorite music?

Let me put some choons on and I'll mull this over forra bit...

It seems I'm surrounded by ageing rockers so I'll start with that era. The Beatles(doesn't everyone?), The stones, Small Faces, Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye, Al green, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Radiohead (played pool with the guitarist!...crap claim to fame, I know, but I did kick his arse), REM, Blur, New Order, Massive Attack, Portishead, David Holmes, Chilli Peppers, Fun Loving Criminals, Coldplay, David Gray, Finley Quaye, The Verve, PJ HArvey, Beth Orton, Erykah Badu, Angie Stone, Lots and lots of Drum & Bass and hip-hop, Right across the classical board...I pretty much like anything that makes me tingle or surprises me. Stuff that fires new neural pathways every time you hear it, or acts like an old friend.

This list is by no means definitive cos you lot are probably far too middle of the road to appreciate, or even have heard of, most of the stuff I love ;-) But then, that's the beauty of music!
