Re: Favorite music?
Well, you guys are my friends forever. I couldn't possibly live without my music. I remember as a small child, I would race to the car first and "turn the knobs" on the radio to my station and turn the volume up. My Daddy would always look at me as soon as he cranked the car and raised his eyebrows at me as he turned down the volume.
My 1st husband would usually lecture me about the loud music in the car, in the house, etc. It never helped. It was loud.
My Mama would always tell me I was going to be deaf and she is probably right. One day I will be deaf. (hopefully, after I am dead)
My husband now just raises his eyebrows and smiles as he turns down the volume. I always tell him Putter (our dog) did it.
Kayla, my 4 year old granddaughter says, "Nana, put in Queen!" when she is in my car. We go rocking down the road listening to "We Will, We Will Rock You!" She sings as loud as they do.
Kayla's Mom, my daughter, describes me as not like normal Grandmothers. (I take that as a compliment whether she means it or not)
I love Bob Seager, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Enya (when I am in a mellow mood) Cat Stevens, and long live James Brown!!
