Vegetable protein as in beans, nuts, seeds, rice and other grains does not occur in high concentrations, as found in animal foods. In fact, most of these are semi-starch, semi-protein. Your stomach would burst before you would be able to overeat vegetable proteins. Peanuts have a strong irritating effect on the intestinal lining. They weren't meant for humans but for certain animals, such as donkeys. Vegetable protein in the above combined form also does not coagulate, as in cooking of meat, eggs, or fish. Besides, dead protein from animals that have been killed is degenerated by enzymatic destruction, which makes that protein useless for human cell growth. Vegetable protein, on the other hand, sustains its normal molecular structure for as long as the plant, fruit or vegetable remains fresh or is dried properly, as in rice or beans.
