In short, yes! The Stuff on the back regarding number of cultures at freezing tends to be misleading also. As soon as the little critters are packaged they tend to die. By the time they've gotten into the guts there are probably hardly any(relatively) left:-(

There is, however, a solution. Make your own. Kefir or sauerkraut offer you the chance to take top quality probiotics at a fraction of the cost of inferior shop bought products. Try Dom's site for the very best information on the wonders of Kefir...
