Yes, dairy is highly mucuous forming. It calls out a strong reaction in the body. Also contains many hormones, Antibiotics , etc. The protein casein is particularly notorious.

For any person who has a lot of mucous, I would recommend not eating anything dairy, at least for a month. Cayenne would be a good idea. And lots of raw green veggies, such as dark lettuces, every day. Reduce the amount of animal products, especially red meat. Drink lots of water a day (more than 8 cups) and include green tea daily, too.
