Re: Help for acne

You're very welcome, I can empathize with anyone that has or has had acne. I've been on just about everything to solve the problem, but yet still very lucky because there are many people that have it much worse than I ever have. I've have only very recently given up on the un-sympathetic doctors that only give you prescription after prescription of Antibiotics and then just want to give you accutane (which I was on when I was younger, obviously isn't a life long cure for all people).

About the scarring, I don't have it too badly (mainly just red places; no indented scars); but I have read into microderm abrasion and I had it done a couple times. I am going to wait until my Acne is completely gone before I get it done again. The nurse that did the procedure (basically an intense facial) said that it does wonders for Acne scars. Just an idea to look into. (It's not cheap though; mine was $125 a session). I know that there are home kits; but I don't think that they would work the same
