Dear Cyclo,

I think you're right: the nausea and joint
aches are probably a detox reaction. Skin
brushing gets all your lymph fluid moving.
If your lymph has more than its share of
toxins and debris, than brushing may well
cause some of the toxic lymph fluids to
back up at the lymph nodes. That might
produce both nausea and aches.

In your place, I would keep skin brushing.
You say you love it. That's your intuition
telling you that your body needs the brushing.

Also consider buying a rebounder. It's superb
exercise for your lymph system, and it's lots
of fun. I bounce up and down every evening
after dinner, and then I do my skin brushing.
