Something Unseen Goes Thump

So I am in my room and something unseen goes thump. It came from the closet so I investigate. I find nothing but my clothes.

I cannot see this force, or measure it, but I know it is there - I heard it. So I will conclude it is god, because I lack common sense.

It is my conclusion that god hides in my closet and steals my change while I am sleeping, he probably stumbled over my new shoes and that is why I heard the thump.
