I believe he would say that if you feel you need to eat, you should eat. Keep in mind, though, that your body uses the time you're sleeping [not eating] to detox. If you eat a large meal before you go to bed, your body loses valuable rest and recovery time. I personally am interested in the Ayurvedic approach. They say eating your main meal at midday is best.
