Re: I'm blocked *edited*
Would you consider having someone do the commercial part for you, and doing the p.r., contacting journalists, organizing events and so on? you would discuss together how to communicate your work, but then s/he would take contact with the outside world and you would work safe in your soft nest. Some girlfriend maybe? Really, you're a strong girl but don't do the commercial, it's a sword in the heart. Preserve your vulnerability as the pearl in the oyster.
About the clay, what if you do some warming up with normal clay and pass to the precious when you are ready? a bit like studios and canvas
Go buy some tons of magazines or books or whatever you can think of to take up some new ipothesis, maybe also things totally unrelated to your work. It is likely that you are blocked because you feel some change coming along and still don't know how it is like.
You know even Picasso who was the sure of himself made a person got blocked every now and then, and that was when he was going to change. It's a very healthy sign if you get blocked, it means you're still being truthful. When you go into just style, you don't get blocked any more, but your work dies.
Don't you worry, your work is awesome!

you can put it like this: contemporary culture is pervasive, not persuasive.
But after all, it's always been like that, even worse. In the past, to work you needed a commission, now you go in the market. It's a freer option.
I think Andy Warhol was a genius, but like many others, he repeated his formula a bit too much. It is rare that it doesn't happen, so one can forgive him. The Flowers are awesome, the Golden Marylin is a masterpiece, the Silver Crash a breakthrough. I think he gave his best when dealing with death)
