Re: Converting to Islam?
"Note:
Invasion of Afghanistan.
How many innocent people were sitting in there modest homes taking breakfast with their families when bombs fell on them?
How many are unjustly being tortured without any evidence?
Wouldnt you be wary of someone who is of the same faith as the one who has destroyed so much and has infiltrated thier life?
They probably thought he was a spy, think about it...
This is like saying, the bully got his boots scratched when he kicked the baby in the teeth."
This is getting old.
Just because Afghanistan was "invaded" doesn't mean it was done by Christians.
You can call America a Christian country - but that is so far from the truth. You can see that just by witnessing some day to day activity in any part of North America. There are next to no Christian values, those very values are a severe minority in this day in age.
Perhaps that America and a handful of other countries were once founded on Christian priciples. But today those principles are pushed to the way side and government is just out for the big bucks and to fulfill their own personal agendas.
I would like to hope and pray we could redeem just a few of those principles in the near future.
A parable for you to think on:
Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
This is one of the most serious ways we are guilty of prejudices. We cannot simply lable a whole nation of a certain faith because of a few people guilty of wrong doing.
