Remember this...

The major foundation of Christianity is Jesus Christ. He came to set "us" free from the law. Not to abolish the law, but to fulfill the law and set us free from it. Jesus Christ is the perfect atonement for our short comings...


Also take note that the following statements, by someone trying to bible bash are taken from the Old Testament, and Jesus came to set us free from the Old Testtament rules and law.


For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins. For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times. (Romans 3:23-25)


For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)


God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom. (1 Corinthians 1:30)


So don't let the naysayers fool you with all their chatter and scripture taken out of context...for some reason they HATE Christians and cannot respect our belief in Christ.
