A couple of thoughts. First, there is an excellent post on this forum explaining why frequency lists are almost never "accurate".

Second, what you are doing is dangerous. While stereo amplifiers have excellent isolation from the power line, they also pass through a fairly large amount of energy. One joule equals one watt-second of energy, or one watt of power continuously for one second. Defibrillators charge up to around 300 joules, and deliver the shock over about one second (I believe everything I see on TV), so that's 300 watt-seconds. I don't think strapping yourself to something with 1/3 the power and no safety timer is a smart thing.

Third, several of the claims on the website you posted are... interesting. The vast majority of sound cards and home stereos don't support DC offsets, so I'm interested in hearing a justification for the "Zapper" claim. It's a small point, but I think it gives insight into the veracity of their other claims. Also, while a sound card may accept 48,000 data words per second, that doesn't mean it will produce a complex waveform at 1/2 that frequency. In fact, it pretty much guarantees that any output other than a low amplitude sine wave will be severely distorted at the higher frequencies, even before the added effects of the home stereo amp.

A $4 transformer from Radio Shack will give you the same tingling sensations you are getting with your setup, with much greater safety and much lower cost.
