Although I'm happy to see Christians serving in their communities and to people in need in general, it's a little pet peeve of mine that they do it with a sign in the yard. You know, "First Church of Whatever at work." I just would rather see a church do something in the community in secret rather than drawing attention to themselves or advertising what a good church they are by reaching out into the community and then wanting to be on TV because they did it.
