Most of the time the apostles were together and when Jesus sent out apostles they went in twos. The gifts of God are given not for personal use but to edify the body of Christ. There are selected persons walked alone for a season, but even most of those were found to be in groups the majority of the time. Jesus, our example, usually surrounded Himself with His deciples and/or those He was teaching. God can always call us out to be alone to be with Him, as He can do as He thinks best. I love to be alone with God. God calls us to gather together for good reason. It is important to be accountable to one another and to avail ourselves to use our God given gifts.

It is an awesome thing to sit quietly and learn from godly men.
