If it's any encouragement to you, I was engaged to a man before I met the Lord. When I met Jesus, my eyes were opened and I realized this was not a godly relationship at all, and we broke up. It was a terrible mess. The next day I met my future husband, a sweet Christian guy. We were married a year and a half later and we'll be celebrating out 27th anniversary this month.

Dear Lord, please lift up eaglewing to Your throne. Show her that you love her. Allow her to become so in love with You that she has eyes only for You. Forgive her of her jealous, broken heart, her loneliness and impatience to be married. Comfort her, Lord, to know that You indeed have the perfect man in store for her, when it is the perfect time for her to meet and fall in love with him. Lord, fill her life with opportunities to serve you and minister love to others who are lonely and do not have families. Bring to eaglewing individuals and families who will adopt her into their hearts and homes during this time.

Lord, raise her up upon eagle's wings so that she may soar with You on the highest heights. In Jesus' precious name, AMEN.
