There is a standard procedure for diagnosis which includes an inventory of symptoms along with certain "tender points" that always go along with Fybro. I have all of them.

It varies...exercise (even walking up a flight of stairs) causes extreme burning in my muscles. Ironic, exercise is one of the best remedies for Fybro! Also, I have chronic dull pain (stiffness and soreness) in my neck and shoulders. Often, I will have a muscle spasm that causes sharp piercing pain in either my back or my hip. Sometimes the pain is on one side only...sometimes it is on both sides. One day it will be one place...and the next day somewhere else.
