I had 2 root canaled teeth removed yesterday - he followed the appropriate procedure as far as the cleaning procedure - I wasnt too sick but i immediately felt a change in the my area of discomfort.

I been looking at options to cover the empty area and from what I've read, implants are not the way to go - I think there was someone here that said he nearly died after having them. The fact is implants require to have a titanum rod in your jaw, and this can cause meridian disruption just like a dead tooth, along with metal toxicity.
The other options would be permanent or removable bridges.
Permanent bridges require drilling of the adjacent teeth to properly fit the bridge. Cleaning seems to be tricky for these and require checking every few months.
Removable bridges are used mainly to prevent teeth from shifting but can be incovenient and easily lost.
I'm considering permanent bridges after the area has healed.

It could be that a large amount of bacteria was dumped into the system and your immune system is trying to clean it up so flu like symptoms are not unheard of after oral surgery. You should make sure that nothing is left in the socket so there's no cavitation in the future.
