How could any country have a mad man as an ally? That is just ignorance! You don't become allies with a mad man, and expect him not to turn and bite his allies.....

That would be a USA mistake. However who was president when that ally relationship was formed? I don't think it was GWB, so how can we cast blame on the current govt. for making a mad man? Besides, USA didn't create Saddam, Saddam is responsible for his own actions just as all of us on earth are. Just as we all can choose right from wrong, so could Saddam.
