Re: Important issues on Evolution

Come to think of it, evolution is not so deliberate and intentional, as it is "the limit of our [worldly] understanding". Animals are how we relate to, understand and characterize nature. Probably the earliest dance around bonfires was the "hunting" dance where the dancer wore an animal skin to represent their hunting prowess. The names of animals are still popularly used to identify cars with "animal characteristics" (Mustang, Impala, Pinto, Rabbit etc.), but also names of natural events and concepts (Satellite, Cyclone, Galaxy,Geo,etc.). On top of that, fire is still used to represent "pseudo" (worldly) spirituality. In any gathering where a profound "feeling" is suggested (such as "The Thousand Points of Light" march where each marcher carried a candle), fire is used as a broad and vague interpretation of mystery and the unknown. How old are theories of evolution?
