No, I don't think I'm confused. The bible doesn't only speak of spiritual ways. Otherwise it would not teach us how to live, behave and eat etc.

There are countless physical experiences where God has saved someone supernaturally from death. Whether the person was healed, or protected from danger! Then there are other cases where God "lets" the person die(physically). Why does physical protection and healing happen to some and not another person. I don't know. But I will find that out one day, when I get to heaven I'm sure.

Yes God created Lucifer. An angel. Lucifer caused his own demise, by getting prideful and wanting to be God. That is what caused satan to become evil. God gave dominion of this world to man. Man let the evil in. It's all told in the book of Genisis.

God is not an angry God. God is loving and merciful. When God is talking about vengeance, He is telling us not to take revenge, because He has the more just way of dealing out vengeance. He does not deal out of anger, like we do. He deals out of Love.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

We do have a choice to accept God! Just like we have a choice what we will eat for breakfast. God says to "Seek Him" and "To Come to Him". That was the plan when He sent His son, Jesus to die for us. So we could come and be reconciled to God through Man (Jesus). That our sins would be forgiven when we ask. That means our sins are forgotten, and we are to live as God commands us in the Bible. And when we do mess up, we are to be quick to repent and God is quick to forgive!

Psalm 103:11 & 12
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

So, I'm done arguing this with you. I'm sure we are both quite comfortable thinking we are right! : )
