Am I crazy or what???? My daughter didn't listen

My grandson is 5 years old and his back molar was hurting him. It didn't have a cavity, it had an infection and lack of calcium. The dentist talked her into doing a $500 root canal!! I have never heard of a dentist doing a root canal on a baby tooth, has anyone else??? I begged my daughter to see another dentist but she believed this dentist. I told her that when I had an infection in my tooth the dentist would not touch it until I took Antibiotics and the infection was gone.

They did the root canal and packed it with Antibiotics then he has to get a crown put on. For what I ask, this is a tooth he will loose in a few years. Will the root canal damage his other tooth???? I have so many questions and still a bit upset with my daughter... Tweet
