Tia - what a fabulous testimony!
you're right - going into this cleanse with huge expectations will certainly set you up for failure. It looks like your attitude, determination, and spirit got you through these first 10 days. I'm on day 8 and it's posts like this that make me get up and say "YAH"!
Funny - like you, I'm now getting up at the crack of dawn (5:00) cleaning the house, and other odds and ends. Before the fast, it was up at 6:30, rush and get ready for work, and out the door. I'm loving this - I'm sitting here with my SM tea, on the computer, my son is still sleeping...and...the bed is made! LOL
I also get up and pray for a successful day - I find that motivating too.
My goal is 15 days (I didn't want to set too high an expectation)! But we'll see....I have enough Grade B maple syrup and tea in the cupboard to last another 10 days easy.
The only thing I DON'T do on this cleanse is go to the store -- that is now hubby's job. How do you handle being around food, etc.
Congrats, and keep up the good work!
Melanie
