It looks like many of you go beyond the 10 days. I'm using this cleanse as a stepping stone towards a healther diet and to rid my body of the toxins (ie, alcohol and coffee). I met with my cardiologist last week, and he said 10 days of cleansing is more than plenty (but he's never done it, so who knows if that's really the case). Then I was going to break the fast as the book stated. My goal is to not return to drinking wine (which I did every night with/after dinner) and to go on a low calorie diet to lose 25 pounds. I will also start incorporating exercise after 10 days (don't ask me to start now, it's all I can do to work all day). :)
Am I off the mark here? I don't want to set myself up for failure -- but feel I'm on the right track.
