Pressure Cooking and Beans

What are your feelings about pressure cookers? I like mine because it takes a lot less time to cook dried beans soft. Plus one can add spices, herbs and meat for excellent flavor. I don't seam to have much of a problem digesting dried beans cooked this way, but my husband get terrible smelling gass. In fact he gets gas from almost any way I cook beans. I have tried quick soak, overnight soak and cooking with kombu. I always change water between soaking and cooking. What am I doing wrong? Why are beans so hard for some people to digest? What is the most digestable way of cooking beans? What are your feeling about consuming flesh from animals? Thank you in advance.
