Actually, I would say that within limitations both are important. It is really the applied power that produces the results P=EI.

That is the power equals the Voltage times the Current.

This is the main reason that I have stressed for so long why some of the ParaZapper products are more effective.

It is also why I have stressed the use of salt water and larger contact areas to reduce the overall skin resistance.

The data that we get back confirms this.
