It's only been a week, but I feel some on and off pain and discomfort. It's not a constant pain. My periodontist removed the stitches yesterday and I mentioned it to him. He said it looked good, the area that is, and to take advil for it. The pain I feel is on and off, like a tightness like it's pulling together in that aread. The discomfort I feel when I where the flipper it feels like it's pulling discomfort. Both my dentist and periodontist is in the same office, but the perio only works there on Wednesday's. My dentist looked at it on Tuesday and said it looked good, but no films were taken, and the periodontist removed the stitches and said the same. Not sure if it's all the norm. I asked him yesterday if it's part of the norm, he said it will take 4 months to heal. Any thoughts?
