You might want to put your message on the liverflush forum. People there will be against surgery, so you get their view. And may be here you can read the messages and find out how happy people are with the surgery.

Buy some Epsom Salt at drugstore or supermarket it is the kind that says you can use it as a laxative too.

As soon as you feel not well or have pain drink 1 tbs epsom in a glass of water or juice.
The pain should be gone in a relative quick(15-20 minutes?) time. You can repeat it one more time.

Read up as much as you can.
