hmmmm
I take everything "with a grain of epson salt" ;-)
I heard Dr. Young speak Friday evening. I have not read his book. I was surprised that he did NOT approve of vinegar--said it would eventually damage the villi in the small intestine. That was curious. It's a bit tricky--sugar is bad. Molassas is good. Vinigar is 'bad?' Lemon is good.
And it sounded like he didn't want us to eat protein much at all. I eat beans. He didn't seem very excited unless they were sprouted. However, I guess there are several schools of this pH balancing protocol?
He seemed to think baking soda was the cheap way to help balance pH. But I would like to know more about the pickling lime in the distilled water, mixing it with water.
And what about the GREEN issue? Any thoughts on that?
On a side note, I was talking with a friend who was saying how she just COULDN'T acquire a taste for 'good' food. I told her then she better be the most positive, upbeat person to counteract her 'intolerance' for healthy food. I've still got a lot of room in that area to work on.But if I understand it correctly, a grumpy healhy eater isn't any better off that a jolly happy 'poor' eater....would you agree?
thanks for sharing!
