How do I get alkaline on low carb diet?
How can I get alkaline? I need to eat low carb (lean meat, eggs, chicken, fish and non starchy veggies). I can not eat complex carbs like whole rice as it makes candida and my cfs/fm much, much worse. I do have some low carb whole grain bread substitutes though. I can't eat fruit either for the same reason. I also have interstitial cystitis and though lemon is a good alkaline maker, it bothers my bladder.
I have tried several green drinks. I seem allergic to every one I've tried. I get instantly sick - nauseous, weak, fatigued. They put so many different things in most of them. I do try to juice green veggies with a half carrot daily.
I do drink decaf coffee but I put a bunch of baking soda in it and test it so it is alkaline.
Should I take a lot of coral calcium, more baking soda? What would you suggest? Thanks
