Children & Runny Noses

Do you have any advice/recommendations for my two year old son? He randomly gets a runny nose that lasts several days. He is not in day care but does playgroup and other kid activities where is can pick up who knows what.

He drinks Superfood every morning and eats a healthy diet. His immune system is very strong as, other than the occasional runny nose, he has never been ill. He is the only two year old I know will ask for chicken and rice over McDonald's. In fact, he has only had fast food probably 3 times in his entire life, and he will soon be three.

I have had terrible allergies since the age of four. I don't know if he will inherit this or not. As he is draining like crazy out of his nose, I am running the vaporizer and gave him a tissue to wipe off his nose as needed.

Due to his age, I am not sure what we can do for him other than just let it run his course. Do you have any other suggestions?
